Peaceful Pastures is an Equine Facilitated Wellness facility, offering animal interaction and observation in a natural, rustic setting. No horse experience is required for these unmounted encounters. Horses and nature are a constant theme in Pam's life. They have been a saving grace in times of struggle, when holding on to memories of their unconditional acceptance pulled her back from the brink. She feels fortunate and privileged to share a lifetime of teaching and horse experience to provide invaluable experiential learning opportunities with her herd on her prairie acreage.
Clinical studies have proven that being around horses changes the brain wave patterns of humans. Being in the presence of horses brings us a calm, present moment focus in which we become centered, and transformation can occur.
"The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away." Pablo Picasso
