NAJA is a 20 year old Arabian princess. Near the bottom of the herd hierarchy, she seems to prefer human company to horse, if she can safely approach. Large pony/small horse size makes her less intimidating physically than full size horses.
MAC is a 19 year old Tennessee Walker gentleman, calm, stoic, curious and kind. Many visitors have developed a special bond with him.
THE LITTLES: new additions, they add playfulness to the herd, and embody 'size doesn't matter'.
TWIX is a 5 year old pinto pony, 41" tall. A jester who seems to enjoy children, and willingly follows them when being led. He is trained to give lead line rides.
PEANUT is a 3 year old miniature horse standing 32" tall. An escape artist, he was in need of a home where his escapades wouldn't put him in danger from traffic. He believes that the rules don't apply to him, but doesn't want to be left out, and is gentle. He is learning to have a child sit on him.
Equine Educators
TINKER, born here Aug, 2018, is the grand daughter of a mare we rescued. She is half Gypsy Vanner, hence the hairiness. We're enjoying her youth and playfulness, while fostering a respectful relationship and furthering her training.
