Going into this I was nervous about how my busy youngster would enjoy the experience. Pam went above and beyond to.... educate us about the horses. She was very adaptive to the needs and interests of my young one, giving her appropriate breaks and letting her experience additional things, like caterpillars, her sandbox, garden.

Pam's experience was phenomenal, great for adults and kids alike. Connecting with horses on a personal level was a unique and fulfilling experience. Pam is a knowledgeable and intuitive guide, and led us through an educational and safe encounter with her beautiful horses. The boys especially loved interacting with her miniature horse. I have been to Peaceful Pastures many times. What I experienced was unexpected. I had some fear of being with the horses, but with Pam's guidance, I was able to become mindful of my breathing and aware while interacting with the horses. I have gained some insights on what some of my misperceptions of myself were. The horses accepted me unconditionally and that in itself touched my heart deeply. By the 3rd or 4th session , I was comfortable walking among the horses and interacting with them with no fear at all. Jeannine, individual sessions, and Brian, couples sessions'

This was such a wonderful experience. I wanted to get my kids (7 and 9) acquainted with horses before trying a trail ride at Banff, especially my 9 yo who said he was scared of riding. The gentle and insightful introduction to Pam's horses was perfect- it ignited interest and empathy as well as preparing us for our trail ride later in the week. My kids felt really special and honored by the attention from the horses and would have returned again and again if we'd had time!
